After 5 years, I think it’s time to move away from a bloated, image-heavy, table-based design of this site to a lighter and leaner one. It scared me a bit when I saw how old my previous site was. When people say time goes by a lot faster after college, they’re not kidding! And I’m not even that old.

There is no coincidence in timing of this redesign. When Geocities shut down two days ago and I got a good laugh out of xkcd‘s appropriate one-day Geocities throwback, I realized it was time.

Only God knows what’s going to happen in 5 years from now since the world is supposed to end in 2012. I do hope, however, to see more [positive] changes around here…
