It scared me a bit when I saw how old my previous site was. When people say time goes by a lot faster after college, they’re not kidding! And I’m not even that old.

There is no coincidence in timing of this redesign. When Geocities shut down two days ago and I got a good laugh out of xkcd‘s appropriate one-day Geocities throwback, I realized it was time.

Only God knows what’s going to happen in 5 years from now since the world is supposed to end in 2012. I do hope, however, to see more [positive] changes around here…

P.S. IE6 users: don’t even bother – I didn’t.

That’s pretty sad.

Since I started over at CNET Networks I have moved on from news.com toreviews.cnet.com. It really doesn’t make much difference, I just don’t work on News tasks anymore.
Also, on May 15 ’08, it was announced that CBS would acquire CNET for $1.8 billion. In other words, I now work for Katie Couric and David Letterman :) . Folks here at CNET are pretty excited about the deal. I guess it’s a good thing — only time will tell.

I will be attending WWDC again this year. It’s going to be my second time so I’m quite excited. Steve is supposed to announce the long-awaited 3G iPhone and tell us more about iPhone SDK. The conference is sold out for the first time in its history. That means more elbows hitting me on the way to the keynote hall on the morning of June 9th.
Folks from VersionTracker took over product management of my CNET iPhone appso we’ll be attending a few sessions together. Speaking of iphone.cnet.com, my CiUIis getting some positive feedback from the open-source community. There is still a lot that can be done to the library to make it more robust, yet lighter, so I really hope more people will join in the development. I will sure be promoting the hell out of it at WWDC.
